Diving into a new direction with my art business.

Hello, dear friends and fellow makers,
This decision has been brewing quietly in my heart for a while now, and today, I finally want to share it with you.
After years of lovingly sewing magical plush creatures—especially my beloved Nordox—I’ve come to a personal crossroads. As much as I adore bringing these fantasy companions to life with my own two hands, I’ve realized that time is something I simply don’t have enough of.
Handmaking plushies is joyful, but incredibly time-consuming. And as more people discover my work and ask for their own Nordox or felt ornament, I’ve found myself constantly torn between fulfilling those requests and finding the space to create freely, grow artistically, and build the creative business of my dreams.
So after much thought (and a few emotional stitches), I’ve decided to shift my focus to what brings me both joy and sustainability: sharing sewing patterns.
🧵 Why Patterns?
Because I love designing them.
There’s a special kind of magic in creating something others can bring to life with their own hands. Seeing people all over the world sewing their own Nordox or hanging handmade Christmas ornaments on their trees—it lights me up in a way that’s hard to describe.
My felt ornaments, especially the Christmas ones, have always had a special place in my heart. They’re simple, sweet, and filled with nostalgia and warmth. Designing these patterns lets me keep that holiday magic alive all year round, and it gives you the chance to make that magic too.
✨ What This Means
From now on, you’ll see me focusing more and more on:
Releasing new sewing patterns (for Nordox, seasonal ornaments, and beyond!)
Creating step-by-step tutorials
Sharing inspiration and ideas to help you make your own soft, magical creations
You’re always welcome to sell your handmade pieces from my patterns (just not the patterns themselves), and I hope they bring you the same joy they’ve brought me while designing them.
💫 A Dream in Progress
This isn’t just a shift—it’s a step toward building a full-time creative business rooted in art, storytelling, and handmade magic. Patterns allow me to grow, create more consistently, and hopefully offer you even more than I could when I was hand-sewing every piece myself.
Thank you, truly, for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve adopted a Nordox, stitched an ornament, or simply cheered me on—you’ve helped me find the confidence to take this path.
And I can’t wait to show you what’s next. 🧵✨
With love,
The Christmas Lady
